The manufacturer Peugeot presents us with a slight restyling that refreshes the image of one of its retro scooters which is inspired by the S55 and S57 motorcycles produced in the 50s of the last century. Its engine availability consists of two options: 50 cc or moped and 125 cc, which to be driven it is necessary to carry the corresponding card. This is the Django model that has been called Shadow to identify it as an edition. The new Peugeot Django Shadow 2022 will be painted under the color Adventure Green and can be obtained from 3,090 euros for the 50 cc version and 3,950 euros for the 125 cc variant. Both will have up to 5 years warranty.
The new Peugeot Django Shadow 2022 stands out for wearing the Adventure Green color, a chromatic combination between gray and matt dark green. Its body mixes modern lines with retro details printed on the front grille, which also incorporates lighting in two LED strips next to the Lion logo in the center of it. Its cycle has a tubular steel chassis along with suspensions that vary depending on the version. The same goes for the braking system that in the 50 cc version uses a front disc and a drum on the rear axle, while the 125 cc comes with ABS and discs on both axles. For its part, the wheels are aluminum and in 12 inches.
In terms of practicality it has a flat floor, a glove compartment, a hook to hang bags, a seat divided into two parts for two occupants that rises 770 mm from the ground for comfort when boarding the bike and a hole under it to store a jet helmet. There is also a USB and 12v socket.
The powertrain offer consists of two options: the first of 50 cc yields 3.5 hp and 3.2 Nm of torque, while the most powerful option and that requires a license for its driving is the 125 cc version, this yields 10.6 hp and a torque of 9.3 Nm. Both engines are air-cooled and fed from an 8.5-liter fuel tank.
