Land Rover completes the equipment range of the new Defender 110 with a very interesting accessory that can prove to be an extremely useful addition during holiday escapades. We are talking about a folding tent mounted on the roof of the vehicle.
The Italian company Autohome is responsible for creating this solution, which, as the name suggests, specializes in products created for sleeping in the car. A set made to measure Defender consists of, among others from an aluminum ladder for easy access to the roof and a solid roof box made of fiberglass.
It also acts as a housing for the tent hidden inside. Just unfold the boxing to enjoy a temporary Defender roof house . What’s more, inside we also find a mattress, LED lighting, three pillows and mosquito nets.
Specialists from Autohome have made every effort to provide thermal and acoustic insulation, so that nothing should interfere with accommodation in a comfortable and quite large tent with a length of 2.3 meters, width of 1.3 meters and a height of 1.5 meters at the top.
Land Rover representatives hope that this practical add-on will enjoy considerable popularity among customers. It is a pity that the tent is not the cheapest. The manufacturer wishes exactly 3,081.96 euros, which translates into PLN 13 648.
