Several talented artists draw sketches of vehicles which are, in many cases, very interesting. In the wake of the presentation of the Hyundai Santa Cruz 2021 , the team at RPM unearthed two sketches of pickup trucks based on SUVs whose appearance is rather captivating.
The compact and mid-size pickup market appears to be picking up steam. In fact, Hyundai has just presented the Santa Cruz 2021 , a compact pickup truck that uses the Tucson platform.
Volkswagen Electric Pickup
The idea of an electric van at Volkswagen could prove to be very interesting, considering that the manufacturer has several platforms that can be used and that the electric technology developed for its ID.4 model could well be used on board such a vehicle. .
It should be noted that Volkswagen claims to want to market 75 new electric vehicles by the end of the decade, an electric van would therefore make sense.
The sketch is from KDesign AG , the latter used the Volkswagen Atlas as a basis and turned it into an electric van. There are several design elements that can be found on the latest ID models, especially in the case of the headlights, the grille and the lights.
Land Rover Defender truck
The Land Rover Defender leaves no one indifferent, its look is moons away from what we normally find in luxury SUVs. Artist Andrew Alewine imagined what a pickup version of the Land Rover Defender would look like and, admittedly, the result is quite interesting. We recognize the character traits of the vehicle, especially its very square lines and the small windows integrated into the roof.
According to his page, the author says he always wanted to create a full-size pickup truck version of the Land Rover Defender, but adding his personal touch to it in order to make it beefier and intimidating.
