The Porsche 911 Carrera GTS America Edition still houses the 3.0-liter turbo flat 6-cylinder block. It develops 480 hp and 570 Nm of torque, enough to offer it breathtaking performance. Note that power is transmitted to the ground via the steered rear wheels.

This special edition receives RS Spyder wheels with white spokes, allowing to accentuate the contrast with the black brake calipers. While a red Guards border surrounds the rims.

“This is also the perfect time to add another ‘America’ model to our history as we look back 70 years since the 356 America Roadster and 30 years since the 964 America Roadster,” said Kjell Gruner, President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America.

On board, the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet America Edition dresses its seats in black leather, with a contrast produced by the red belts. The instrument and tachometer dials opt for a white background.

At the rear, the Porsche will be black while the 911 Carrera will be white and the GTS will be guards red. The interior of the car mainly includes two colors, the Pebble Grey and the Guards Red. The central armrest includes a relief with the inscription “America”.

The door sills are also decorated with a “70 years America Roadster” plaque. An option is available that allows you to add other color elements on the steering wheel, gear lever and seats.

Porsche will produce only 115 units, including 100 for the American market and 15 for the Canadian market. On the price side, the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS America Edition starts at $184,920. With the “extended interior,” its price can climb up to $192,430.
