Porsche 911 Carrera RS N-GT Clubsport. A rare bird looking for a new home

Elferspot just announced via its website that this impressive vehicle is looking for a new home. It is a Porsche 911 Carrera RS N-GT Clubsporta sports car belonging to the 964 generation and which was first delivered to its original owner in December 1991 .

This true marvel, of which the guys from Zuffenhausen only assembled 290 copies , changed hands in March 1994 and it was then that it was registered for the first time. But it changed hands again when it was acquired by a British collector, who sold it to another German enthusiast in 2013. Since then it has been in the same hands … But it can be yours.

20,705 kilometers in 30 years

Throughout his life he has barely traveled 20,705 kilometers, although his odometer does not indicate that distance, because this element was installed afterwards . Although, he has never participated in competitions and only a few laps of the Nürburgring are mentioned in his record.

For all these reasons, such a sports car is in a magnificent state of conservation, wearing its sensational Red Guards color or its 17-inch magnesium wheels, which hide the braking equipment that by those then inherited from the all-powerful 3.8 RSR .

A Carrera 2 Cup with license plates

The N-GT Clubsports were presented as the latest version of the 964 RS and it was practically a street version of the Carrera 2 Cup competition. From the latter it inherited its FIA certified safety cage (actually its chassis was modified by Manthey Racing), fire extinguishing system, safety harnesses, Recaro seats upholstered with Nomex fabric

Like the rest of the RS of its generation, the power comes from a six-cylinder naturally aspirated boxer engine, still with its legendary ‘aircooled’ air cooling . With 3.6 liters of displacement it delivers 260 hp of power at 6,100 rpm, which is sent to the rear wheels by means of a five-speed manual gearbox. Behind there is also a limited slip differential signed by ZF.

Elferspot has not revealed the amount they are asking for this jewel, but you can imagine that it will not be cheap.
