The first real motorcycle novelty of 2017 is the Triumph Street Triple 765 , revamped version of the British three-cylinder naked bike that takes over the legacy of the previous 675 and try to improve on the already excellent mechanical and cycling characteristics with the adoption of a new engine from larger displacement and three different versions , with different price components. OmniMoto.it went to the official presentation in London and very soon will have a chance to test it in preview , but by the time the contact was static.
The aesthetic is inspired in part to the latest version of the 675, with which it shares only the tank. Tail and front are in the same style but very different, and especially the double front projector (a Triumph trademark) resumes the same design of the last Speed Triple. From the cycle point of view it changes a lot, even if the frame has the same design of the past. The swing arm is completely new and there is also a new front . The S version, that of “access”, provides 6.6% of maximum power than ever before, with 113 hp at 11,250 revs / min , and up to 7.3% of peak torque more, with 73 Nm 9,100 r / min. The R version has a more sporty character in equipment and finishes, 118 hp at 12,000 revs / min and 77 Nm at 9,400 r / min, more fork Showa BPF and with mono rear Showa piggyback reservoir. Finally, the RS, the top, with 123 hp at 11,700 revs / min and 77 Nm to 10,800 rev / min. Unlike the R is a mono Öhlins STX40. All three will come in spring 2017 from 8.900 € . Stay tuned to OmniMoto.it, that will try very soon.
