2021 is a special year for Moto Guzzi since the manufacturer of Mandello Del Lario will indeed blow out its hundredth candle on March 15th. To celebrate this centenary, the transalpine brand has decided to launch three special editions for its motorcycle models, taking inspiration from one of its most emblematic models.
Quite logically, it is the three models that have evolved for the 2021 vintage that will be the subject of a limited Centenario series. The V7 , V9 and V85 TT are thus dressed in a unique livery which will only be marketed this year.
This special decoration is inspired by the legendary 1955 V8 which was developed to race in the Grand Prix 500 . The three neo-retro here feature a metallic tank, a green fairing and a brown leather saddle which directly refer to the manufacturer\’s glorious racing past and which was also present on the 350 Bialbero, titled 9 times in the 350 World Championship.
These colors have been brought up to date by the Italian Design Center and associated with several finishing details, the most distinctive of which are the golden eagle and the specific centenary logo.
The prices of these Centenario limited editions have not yet been formalized, but the models will arrive from the end of February and it is the V7 that will open the ball.
And despite the still very tense health context at the start of the year, Moto Guzzi is already announcing the return of its Moto Guzzi World Days, which were last held exactly 10 years ago and had attracted 20,000 fans. in Mandello. This new edition is scheduled for September 9 to 12.
