The new Mazda CX-30 2021 is the latest addition to the brand’s SUV family and sits halfway between the CX-5 and CX-3. Without bearing the name of CX-4. Here are its features, engines, prices and equipment available.
Dimensions
The new Mazda CX-30 2021 has small dimensions with a length of 4 meters and 40 by 1 meter and 80 in width and 1.54 meters in height. Weight? 1.395 kg.
Aesthetics and Design
The soft, rounded and well-coordinated lines remain. The front is long and tapered, with the large three-dimensional effect grille. The look features the Full-LED headlights (standard from the second trim level) while on the side we find the beautiful 18 “rims (standard from the second trim level) and the large black plastic bumpers that surround the four sides of the car, to lighten the side view and make it appear less tall than it is. The rear window is sloping giving the car an SUV coupé profile, while the “b side” is characterized by horizontal LED headlights and double chromed tailpipe.
Interior and cockpit
The passenger compartment is enhanced by the presence of the 8.8 ”Mazda Connect infotainment system located in the raised area, which does not have touch controls, but can be controlled by the physical rotor in the center of the tunnel, so as not to take your eyes off the road. The rest of the dashboard is finished in soft leather and you breathe the air of a premium car inside the car, with attention both to the overall quality of the passenger compartment and to its refined and elegant design. Behind the wheel is the hybrid instrumentation, a little analog and a little digital. The physical controls of the automatic climate remain. Comfortable and ergonomic seats. The seat is not too high.
Habitability and trunk
Two people can sit comfortably on the rear bench, but there is still room for three people. The seat is comfortable although not too spacious for the legs and knees of our guests. Of note is the lack of light at the rear, due to the descending roof and the somewhat narrow headroom for taller guests.
Driving aid, ADAS
The ADAS package of the new Mazda CX-30 2021 goes up to the second level of assistance and is standard from the third Exceed trim level although from the second Executive trim level we can already find many systems such as lane maintenance, Cruise control, traffic signs, driver fatigue and blind spot monitoring.
