Manhart introduces MH1 350 – Specs and Details

The famous German trainer Manhart has applied a series of improvements to the hatchback model of the manufacturer BMW. We are talking specifically about the BMW 1 Series, which after the appliqués by the Bavarian tuner, has become a Hot Hatch car with a power above 300 hp. This has been achieved thanks to the application of the package that has been called MH1 350. Although the prices are available for the tuning components separately, the total work when leaving the Manhart workshops amounts to 5,706 euros, an amount to which must be added the price of the vehicle.

Visual improvements and increased performance

The Manhart MH1 350 acquires an improved design with the application of the new Maxton Design body kit. The elements involved are a front splitter, aerodynamic side skirts with integrated fins, a double roof spoiler, while the saga incorporates a rear diffuser from which emerge four exhaust outlets finished in matt black and with a diameter of 90 mm. To further highlight its sporty look, Manhart decals have been added as an option with silver and red accents throughout the length of the body, including the bonnet, roof and saga.

Inside, the Manhart logo is applied to the center of the multifunctional steering wheel, a sports pedalboard and custom carbon fiber inserts of the tuner. The wheels, typical of tuner correspond to the GTS Style of 20 inches shod with tires 235/30ZR20. These hide an H&R suspension with springs that lower the body to the ground by about 30 mm. Other elements include a sport downspout with 300-cell HJS catalytic converter and an optional OPF eliminator that enhances engine sound.

Under the hood, the BMW 1 Series comes standard with the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder block that delivers 306 hp of power and 450 Nm of torque. However, thanks to the incorporation of the MHtronic control unit and the ARMAspeed carbon intake, an increase in power has been achieved that takes it to 350 hp along with a maximum torque of 524 Nm. All this power is distributed to all four wheels thanks to the BMW xDrive system.
