Like Renault and its finish Initial Paris, Ford unveiled several months ago a high-end finishing “Vignale” for some models. The Ford Mondeo Vignale is the first to take advantage of the manufacturer and the Blue Oval unveils the entrance ticket: € 40,400.

There are not that Renault and Volkswagen attempting a “half” breakthrough in the premium, since Ford is also expanding into the adventure with the Vignale finish, equivalent to the Initial Paris Renault. The aim is to offer a more exclusive content to a necessarily more demanding customers but also more comfortable in terms of budget. And the budget, talk about precisely because Ford has unveiled the entry ticket Mondeo Vignale: you will have to pay at least € 40,400 to afford the sedan (but also the break Mondeo SW) in its top finish range.

So what makes a Ford Mondeo Vignale so special?
Ford will offer a choice of four-door saloon or estate Mondeo Vignales and each will be upgraded when they roll off the Valencia line in Spain. They’ll be quieter and more luxuriously equipped than regular Mondeos, the company says, to justify their higher prices when sales start in May 2015. The makeover brings niceties such as 11-way massaging seats, bespoke colours, a distinctive Vignale grille and newly chromed door mirrors.
And, most importantly, Ford will offer an improved customer experience at a selection of more upmarket FordStores opening across the UK. Cars will be collected, delivered and valeted come servicing time and a 24-hour Vignale OneCall hotline is launched to handle customer queries.
