The Jaguar XE 2018 compact sport sedan was launched in the United States last year and has already received several upgrades for 2018. The new model gets a brand new four-cylinder in-line from the family of engines Ingenium of Jaguar. The automaker also added new features, such as a new digital gauge cluster display and padded the options sheet with some additional features of active safety and convenience.
The Jaguar XE 2018 sedan is now powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged rated at 247 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. The fully aluminum grinder rotates the rear wheels by an automatic transmission, but the all-wheel drive can also be ordered at an additional cost.
Another version named XE S will also join the range for 2018. It comes with a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 that is borrowed from type F and is properly tuned to generate 380 horsepower. Jaguar did not reveal any details about the performance of the car, but the S is expected to release the other members of the XE range.
Other new features for the next model year will be a limited edition model dubbed Portfolio. This is the most refined XE to date. It is equipped with heated rear seats, electric sun visors, a hands-free trunk lid, a 10-inch touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster and an 825-watt surround system With 17 loudspeakers.
Other technological features available will include a fully configurable 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, forward traffic sensing, emergency braking, front vehicle guidance. The F-Pace portfolio sells for $ 63,200 while the XF portfolio costs $ 68,025.

Jaguar partnered with Shell to create an innovative, cashless payment system. The new feature will allow drivers to pay for fuel without getting out of the car. From now on, the car payment system is only available in the UK, but according to the carmaker, the functionality will be introduced worldwide before the end of the year.
The latest entry-level engine reduces the Jaguar XE 2018 price to $ 35,725. The XE S starts at $ 52,275, while the limited edition Portfolio is priced at $ 56,910. The Jaguars Ingenium range, which includes the XE, XF and F-Pace, is expected to appear in the showrooms in the coming months.
