The restylée Ford Mustang appeared on the web after via a video uploaded to YouTube.
Not surprisingly, the Ford Mustang reliftée evolves little. She did not need it so much the designers had managed with this sixth generation to modernize the style without falling into the caricature retrodesign.
Unveiled on this video in the GT 5.0 finish with the performance package, this Mustang, vintage 2018, features a slightly retouched front face. The shield has been redesigned in its lower part with a tapered transom, an air vent surrounded by the appearance of two triangular cuts. The shape of the headlights evolves very slightly with now with a slight cut in the lower part. Finally, the bonnet sees its flattened bumps. These slight changes however give the Mustang facelift enhanced aggressiveness. The rear also evolves with tail lights to three vertical bars now rounded.
On the engine side, the Mustang would abandon its 3.7-liter V6 and would only keep the Ecoboost 2.3-liter 314-hp and the V8 5-liter 421-hp. The first would still be coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission while the latter would receive the new 10-speed automatic transmission appeared on the Chevrolet Camaro and developed in partnership with General Motors.
The Ford Mustang relift could also optionally receive the MagneRide pilot suspension previously reserved for the Shelby GT350. As a reminder, the shock absorbers are checked every 10 milliseconds and the setting is ensured a current acting on metallic particles bathing in a hydraulic fluid.
