Nissan unveiled its vision of the future sedans of the brand in the form of the Vmotion 2.0 concept car.
If the Japanese manufacturer sells its SUVs like rolls, it does not forget its range of sedans, because under the traits of the Vmotion 2.0 the future Altima points its nose. The VMotion 2.0 is similar in size to the American-Japanese sedan with a length of 4.86 m (1 cm shorter), a width of 1.89 m (6 cm wider) and a wheelbase of 2, 85 m (7 cm longer).
Like the Murano and Maxima , the front is dominated by the radiator grille VMotion. Compared to the concept car Sport Sedan Concept unveiled at Detroit show even in 2014, this new grille V is more imposing and gleefully bites into the front bumper. Its aggressiveness is reinforced by its “boomerang” style optical blocks. With its angular lines, the silhouette of the VMotion 2.0 is also very muscular.
Its doors with opposite opening frees access to a cockpit that privileges minimalism with a profusion of clear leather and wooden inserts. The dashboard with the very clean design receives on its upper face a wide central screen while the steering wheel sees its high part suppressed. This stylistic choice may seem radical, but at a time when concept cars with autonomous driving promise to park on their own, to make steering wheel turns will become an anachronism. The seats are part of the audio installation. The interior is distinguished by its high luminosity thanks to the use of clear tones and its transparent roof.
Pure style study, Nissan barely evokes the technology embedded by the VMotion 2.0 except the integration of the autonomous driving system christened ProPilot. As for the motorization, Nissan does not mention it, but the Vmotion 2.0 can only be electric.
