Bugatti Divo, a €5 million Racing Car Limited To 40 Units

Bugatti has unveiled the Divo, a derivative version of Chiron, created in its Molsheim workshops. An exclusive racing car produced only 40 copies, already sold at a price of 5 million euros per unit.

With the Divo, Bugatti has developed a supersport that stands out for its maneuverability, its curvaceous liveliness and its remarkable dynamic performance on winding tracks, says the French luxury car manufacturer. “The Divo has outstanding performance in terms of lateral acceleration, maneuverability and cornering behavior – the Divo is designed to swallow corners, ” said Stephan Winkelmann, president of Bugatti.

Bugatti Divo is equipped with the legendary Bugatti W16 engine with 8 liters of displacement and 1500 horsepower and has a top speed limited to 380 km / h.  The forty copies of this new model have already all been sold to a selection of customers, already owners of a Chiron , says the brand, for a net selling price of 5 million euros per unit.

This model owes its name to the French pilot Albert Divo, who won, in the late 1920s, two victories at the wheel of a Bugatti on the winding course of the Targa Florio, the famous Sicilian endurance race.

The Divo was presented on August 24th at the famous sports car rally “The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering” in Monterey, California.
