It seems that everything is prepared for the arrival of the new BMW M5. And it does not do it any way, it does it with a special release edition that comes loaded with equipment and above all, many new features. With this edition, BMW wants to celebrate the arrival of the sixth generation of this precious sedan.
BMW M5 First Edition Limited to 400 units
As it could not be otherwise, production is limited to 400 units so if you want to be one of the 400 customers who want to get it you will have to hurry. The small print comes combined with an exclusive exterior finish and a passenger compartment with several specific details, which make this a very coveted model that will inevitably last a short time for sale.
Outwardly you will be immediately struck by its exterior Frozen Dark Red Metallic, which is accompanied by black exterior moldings that extend from the window frame, the grille of the kidneys or the lateral gill. The set is completed with 20-inch light alloy wheels in Jet Black and seven double spokes and a sport exhaust system with black exhaust tails.
As for its interior, BMW designers have opted for a “Smoke White” Merino Skin upholstery with red stitching to create a striking contrast. It also features exclusive Multifunctional M seats that will surely hold you in place. For the central console they have opted for a piano black finish and in it is an anagram of the edition «M5 First Edition». The mats are also unique, with a white border.
The soul that fuels the BMW M5 Fisrt Edition equips a BMW M TwinPower Turbo V8 engine of 4.4 liters with 600 CV and 750 Nm of maximum torque. This block is combined with an eight-speed M Steptronic gearbox and the new M xDrive all-wheel drive system. Thanks to this mechanics, it will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.4 seconds and reach a maximum speed limited to 250 km / h. As it could not be otherwise, if we equipped the package M Driver\’s, the top speed will rise to 305 km / h.
The price for Spain is 158,845 euros and orders can be made at the beginning of autumn this year. Deliveries will begin in March 2018.
