In May 2016, Aston Martin unveiled the Vanquish Zagato Concept in Italy during the prestigious car show Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Italy. Just a month later, Aston Martin drew the cloth of the production version. The Vanquish Zagato appeared in August to get a cabrio variant.
The Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Volante Concept was unveiled, a homeless variant of the Aston Martin Vanquish designed by Zagato. Its production version is now photographed on the Nürburgring.
The Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Volante Concept, as well as the draft version of the dense version, already left 99 percent of how the production version would look like. The most eye-catching adjustment is the addition of a functional tailgate, as the rear of the study model did not seem to have. The active rear spoiler is also good to see.
As a motor, the Volante holds the same 600 hp strong 6.0-liter V12 as the Vanquish Zagato Coupé. With that power, a speed of 100 km / h in about 3.5 seconds must be reached. Just like the coupé version, only 99 copies of the Zagato Volante are built.
