Kia unveils its fourth generation Optima sedan at the Frankfurt show, before the market from next December. More stylish and a little longer, it offers more space and comfort for its occupants on board.
Kia Optima midsize sedan, fully re-designed for the 2016 model year, makes its official public premiere at the New York Auto Show. The current 2015 Kia Optima is an outstanding midsize sedan that offers a lot for the money. Many shoppers love the fact that Kia allows them to configure the model to their tastes without over-stepping cost boundaries with expensive option packages that come pre-bundled with features. And in about a week, Kia will unveil the redesigned 2016 Optima at the New York Auto Show. The model will mark the third generation for the Optima, which continues to be Kia’s best seller (Kia sells around 13,000 Optimas per month).
2016 Kia Optima Release Date
Kia will not only present its new Sportage at the Frankfurt (17-27 September 2015) since it also will make us discover his new Optima sedan in European version. It was unveiled last spring at the show in New York in US version and will be marketed from next December.
This fourth-generation Kia Optima asserts somewhat in design, with elongated and wraparound headlights, new bumpers and LED tail lights halo effect. It also has a somewhat elongate shape. It must be said that the length of the body and wheelbase earn both 1 cm to be increased respectively to 4.85 and 2.80 meters. An optional electronic suspension proposed will optimize comfort or dynamism of the body, while many safety features such as autonomous emergency braking, maintaining the queue and alert presence in the blind spot are emerging. Services connected to the multimedia system, a Harman Kardon hi-fi system 590 watts and a wireless induction charger for the smartphone are also on the menu.
The new 2016 Kia Optima advantage of the arrival of Euro 6 to provide a revised 1.7 CRDi engine, which now develops 141 hp and 340 Nm against 136 hp and 325 Nm before. The CO2 emissions are calculated 110 grams / km. The 2.0 petrol engine 163 hp CVVL does not move while are announced thereafter a rechargeable hybrid engine and a sporty version.
