2015 Subaru Levorg Release Date Subaru UK has just announced earlier today that it achieved its best ever sales year in 2014, improving on its previous result by 23%. This is interesting, but not as interesting as the cars they plan to launch in 2015.

Since Britain is a right-hand drive market, as well as Japan, some of the rather interesting models can be imported. From autumn 2015, the Levorg Sport Wagon in the UK but the dealers, a cool sport wagon that we have is not available in North.

The Levorg is a brand new car, essentially a Legacy with a bigger boot. The best thing about it is that it rides low to the ground, like a regular car, as opposed to the new Outback, which has become a crossover. Details are pretty limited about the UK model, but we know pretty much everything about the Japanese car.

Already on sale in the US, the UK-spec Outback will debut Subaru’s EyeSight driver assist technology and will also place particular emphasis on infotainment systems. No information was revealed regarding engine variants for either model.

In the US, the Outback is powered by a naturally-aspirated 2.5-liter flat-four engine producing 175hp, but for the UK the model is likely to get a diesel too.

The Levorg is available with a new Subaru four-cylinder boxer engine, a 1.6-liter making 170 PS and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque. For those wanting more power, a top-spec Levorg 2.0GT-S should also be available, making 300 PS (211 kW) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque. Both have permanent all-wheel drive and offer a choice of manual or Lineartronic CVT gearboxes.

Also coming in 2015 is the Forester Lineartronic diesel in April. The Forester is Subaru’s best-selling SUV and the automatic model is expected to boost sales. The rear-wheel drive BRZ SE sports coupe also received a £2,500 price reduction, making it far better value than before, while the XV compact crossover also benefitted from a £2300 price reduction in 2013.
