While we have seen an electric Burgman on Indian roads in recent days, Suzuki has so far remained quite discreet about its 2021 vintage by only confirming the maintenance of the GSX-S 750 and 125 , an A2 version for the V-Strom 1050 XT without forgetting the switch to Euro5 for the V-Strom 650 . The manufacturer of Hamamatsu resumes today its presentations by unveiling its new Suzuki SV650 .
This is therefore good news for fans of medium-capacity roadsters and for young bikers, as Suzuki has just confirmed that its SV range has been brought into conformity with the Euro5 standard .
The Suzuki SV650 and SV650X, in full version and in A2 version, will therefore remain within the range in 2021 and for years to come.
The various modifications made to the assembly have an impact as often when switching to Euro5 engine performance. The power thus goes from 76 to 73.4 horses (identical to the power of the MT-07 2021 ), here obtained at 8,500 revolutions / minute. The maximum torque of 64 Nm remains the same, but is now obtained 1,300 rpm lower at 6,800 rpm instead of the 8,100 rpm of the previous vintage, which should give more pleasure at medium speeds.
To support this development, the Japanese manufacturer is offering the Suzuki SV650 in three new colors, not to mention the SV650X with a new dress.
The entire 2021 vintage will arrive in French concessions from mid-February. The standard model will be priced at € 6,949 and version X at € 7,849, which corresponds to respective increases of € 350 compared to the last vintage.
