On the occasion of the International Show in Detroit automotive, early 2016, Porsche will introduce new versions of its flagship model: the Porsche 911 Turbo and the Porsche 911 Turbo S. The flagship of the 911 range are distinguished by increased output of 20 ch, a refined silhouette and equipment offers enriched. Both models are available from launch in Coupe and Convertible versions.
The twin-turbo 3.8-liter 6-cylinder engine of the 911 Turbo now displays a power of 540 hp thanks to modifications to the intake ports in the cylinder head, new injection nozzles and the increase of the fuel pressure . The 911 Turbo S develops for its 580 hp through new larger turbochargers. Porsche and remains the only manufacturer to focus on the marriage between variable geometry turbochargers and gasoline engines. The 911 Turbo S Coupé reaches 100 km / h from standstill in 2”9. Its top speed stands at 330 km / h or 12 km / h more than its predecessor. The 911 Turbo crosses the 0-100 km/h in 3 ” for a maximum speed of 320 km / h, earning 5 km / h on the previous model.

The new GT Sport steering wheel 36 cm in diameter, inspiring design of the 918 Spyder is equipped as standard with the mode dial. The latter consists of a rotary knob several notches to choose between four modes Normal, Sport, Sport Plus and Individual. Porsche Stability Management (PSM) 911 Turbo models now has a new PSM Sport mode: by briefly pressing the PSM button on the center console, the system goes into sporty configuration, regardless of the driving mode selected . PSM Sport mode will push the PSM intervention threshold more than allowed Sport Plus mode of the previous model, allowing the driver to flirt more with the limits of the system, including circuit.
The 911 Turbo S is equipped with all equipment to optimize driving dynamics: the stabilization system, as are the ceramic brakes. 911 Turbo can also be equipped with new options such as the lifting system on the front axle which, at reduced speed only, to increase the ground clearance of 40 mm at the front skirt.
The 911 Turbo has a few cosmetic changes. Thus, the front is redesigned with side air intakes and light clusters with LED sharp double mesh. In side view, the new sports displays its new 20-inch wheels. The 911 Turbo S adds central nut to seven double-spoke rims. At the rear, the exhaust line and the dual output have also been redesigned hood and grille now comes in three parts for optimal ventilation of the engine.
