Peugeot launches the 3008 Hybrid 4 , a plug-in hybrid all-wheel drive version, which brings the Lion’s popular SUV to new levels of efficiency thanks to the electrified engine.
The Peugeot 3008 Hybrid 4 is also proposed as the most powerful Peugeot series ever sold, thanks to a total power of 300 hp which places it directly at the top of the range.
300 hp rechargeable hybrid powertrain
The Peugeot 3008 Hybrid 4 exploits the combination of the 200 hp PureTech turbo petrol engine and two electric motors: one front associated with the e-EAT8 gearbox that develops 110 hp and one at the rear, located on the rear axle, which delivers 112 hp. The 300-hp plug-in hybrid powertrain allows the French SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.9 seconds.
Electric range of 59 km
Powering the electric units is a 13.2 kWh battery which guarantees an electric range of 59 kilometers, measured on a WLTP cycle. Battery that is fully charged in an hour and 45 minutes through the Wallbox. While taking advantage of the four drive wheels that ensure great grip on any type of bottom, the Peugeot 3008 Hybrid 4 declares extremely low CO2 emissions: just 29 g / km (WLTP).
Built on the EMP2 platform, Pegueot’s new hybrid SUV also uses the new multi-arm rear axle to offer a high level of comfort and ensure a high level of road holding. All this while preserving its qualities of high habitability SUV with spacious interiors and large trunk.
Only in GT setup
The Hybrid 4 engine of the Peugeot 3008 is combined with the GT set-up, the most complete in terms of style and equipment. Thus the 300-hp electrified French SUV is characterized by its interiors with exclusive Grevel Gray Alcantara upholstery, combined with real Oak Oak aged wood decorations. On the 3008 Hybrid 4 new driving aid devices that derive from the 508 also make their debut, such as the adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go function in combination with Lane Positioning Assist.
In 2020 the 3008 Hybrid with two-wheel drive
In addition, in a few months, announces Peugeot, the 3008 Hybrid 4 will be joined by the two-wheel drive Hybrid version with 225 hp overall power. The latter, which will combine the 180 HP PureTech turbo petrol with the 110 hp electric with E-EAT8 gearbox, will be introduced to the market in the first half of 2020.
