From this month, the new Bürstner Copa is to be discovered in the network of the German manufacturer. Riding the very trendy wave in Europe of the mini-van, this model, with a pocket-sized template and made in France, has everything you need to get away from it all on the roads …
With its template less than 5 m long (4.97 m) but 2.09 m under the gauge , the new Copa from the specialist in leisure vehicles Bürstner, plays the card of the compact mini-van but not necessarily all-purpose . Based on a Ford Transit Custom, the Copa, made in France in the brand’s Wissembourg factory in Alsace, develops 130 standard horsepower with the 2.0 EcoBlue block , but can go up to 185 hp as an option.
To each his own bed, his location
Inside, within a cabin with a harmonious atmosphere and provided with numerous practical and clever storage spaces, the Franco-German mini-van, which can carry up to six people, in any case promises a lot of space and careful modularity . Thus on the living room side, the Copa has a removable table … sliding on a rail. A table that can also be moved outside like camping. The main sleeping area of the motorhome is provided in height, in the pop-up roof , allowing the integration of a generous drop-down bed resting on a box spring. Note that downstairs a third “extra” bed for 2 additional people is also on the Copa program.
Optional hand shower and hose
On the kitchen side, the Bürstner mini-van carries the necessary equipment for sustenance, no frills: a two-burner stove, a sink and a 40-liter compression refrigerator . A word finally on the bathroom part and a regret: if the connection for the outdoor shower is indeed standard, this is unfortunately not the case for the hand shower and its flexible. The Bürstner Copa starts at € 46,990.
