Hyundai Ioniq – The award of “Green Gold Award 2018”, awarded by the Union of Automotive Journalists, was won by Hyundai Ioniq. Another prestigious award for the South Korean sedan available in three eco-friendly versions: hybrid, electric and hybrid plug-ins.
The Hyundai Ioniq is the winner of the title ” Green Gold Award 2018 ” that was awarded by the Italian Journalists Automotive (UIGA) at the Auto Europa award.
For the innovative South Korean sedan this is an important award that rewards Hyundai’s three-way technology on the Ioniq range, the first standard car available in hybrid, electric, and hybrid plug-in versions. A prize that emphasizes Hyundai’s commitment to spreading alternative power, without forgetting the hydrogen (ix35 Fuel Cell), to an ever-widening automotive target.
Ioniq is the first model that implements Hyundai’s electrification strategy that will launch 15 new ecological models by 2020, 10 of which will be marketed on European markets.
Before joining the UIGA’s “Green Gold Award”, Hyundai Ioniq had already received several awards, including several “Car of the Year” titles, the Red Dot Design Award 2016 and the 5-star Euro NCAP certification ‘high level of security.
Equipped with a range of equipment including automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane maintenance system, rear retrofit and dual zone automatic climate control, the Hyundai Ioniq is offered in the Hybrid version, promoted for everything the month of October at the price of 21,900 euros .
