From Russia with love comes the reinterpretation of the Aston Martin DB9 known as Cardi 442.
This vehicle created by the Russian bus manufacturer builds on the DB9, and makes substantial changes, highlighting a large lower front grille positioned than other coupes and small headlights.
Unlike the Aston Martin DB9, the Cardi 442 dispenses with the B – pillar, the trunk is narrower and has horizontal chrome finishes simulating the radiator.
This coupe has a futuristic interior with retro inspiration, highlighting the central panel wood and three – spoke steering wheel. The center console features touch screen, and instead of analog instruments as in the DB9 is a next – generation digital display.
On the mechanical side, Cardi not made changes so it has a naturally aspirated 5.9L V12 with 540 horsepower, mated to an automatic transmission.
It should be noted that the Cardi 442 was developed to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the brand but the company says that this prototype will become a reality.
