The procession will be led by the car that originated the lineage, the XJ6 Series 1, and it will end naturally with the most recent version, the XJ50. This convoy will also include exceptional models such as the Series II coupe and XJR X350.
“The history of the Jaguar XJ has been synonymous with design, attraction and performance for 50 years. So it’s fitting that we pay tribute to him this way, “says Jaguar’s Director of Design Ian Callum in a statement released on Friday to announce the upcoming departure of the convoy.
“When I joined Jaguar, the XJ was already an icon of automotive design. I feel particularly privileged to be part of its half-century of history, “he added.
The convoy’s 839-kilometer journey includes iconic landmarks such as the Jaguar Land Rover Classic Works, the Bicester Heritage Complex, and the Goodwood and Le Mans racetracks, both of which have played important roles in the history of the Jaguar brand. , but also that of the XJ.
The trip will end at the Paris Motor Show, which will open to the public on October 4th.

Paris, starting point of a great history
