Specialty Vehicle Engineering Inc. has unveiled the Stage II of its 2019 Chevrolet Camaro, the new horse developing no less than 1000 horses!
2019 Chevrolet Camaro Yenko
After the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk HPE1200 developed by Hennessey Performance , here is the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro YENKO / Stage II SC created from scratch by the company Specialty Vehicle Engineering Inc. For those who do not recognize the name, know that SVE was formerly known under the name SLP.
This special edition, whose planned production is only 25 units, is based on a 1SS or 2SS livery with the optional 1LE group, this set including the magnetic suspension, the limited slip electronic differential in addition to some modifications to the suspension and stabilizer bars. In addition, the 1LE group adds the cooling of the gearbox as well as the differential, an asset during the track days.
On the other hand, it is especially what is under the hood that makes this 2019 Chevrolet Camaro Yenko / SC really unique. Its V8 LT1 engine has a displacement of 6.8 liters, as well as a positive displacement compressor, which brings the total power of the machine to 1000 horsepower! Moreover, know that the company is also developing a Stage I version whose power is limited to 835 horses. Of course, the block receives its share of internal modifications, such as high-speed LT4 heads, a high-speed injection system, a less restrictive exhaust system complete in addition to a reprogramming of the on-board computer.
The five-spoke rims add a retro touch to the set, wrapped in Michelin high-performance tires. The official brochure of this special Camaro announces 10 colors for the body and 9 colors available for the external adhesive strips, but, ironically, opening the hood to fill the engine compartment is not even functional. Curious, do not you think? And since it is a modern version of the legendary Camaro YENKO S / C of the past, the official badges are not lacking both outside and inside.
Notice to interested parties, the model is available through authorized Chevrolet dealers on both sides of the border. The release does not talk about price for all, but we can expect a sum as monstrous as the power of the V8!
