2017 Toyota Yaris Revealed with New Engine technology & New Face

Toyota Yaris B segment gets an extensive facelift opening a cleaner look, more driver assistance and a 1.5 liter petrol engine

Toyota has released the first official photos of its 2017 Toyota Yaris – a complete facelift of the current model with a new look, a new technology and a new gasoline engine at the center of the range.

In terms of style, the 2017 Toyota Yaris has been updated outside with tweaks to make it sportier and the car wider. On the front, you can think of a sharp advanced face with new headlights, new front grille, plus a simple nose, while the door trim the bottom are placed.

The changes continue in the rear with the new horizontal taillights, a revised rear door, as well as a new rear bumper. Buyers will be able to spec their cars with three new models of alloy wheels, along with two new paint color options. Daytime running lights and LED taillights with LED are the list of options.

In the cockpit, new colors, seat and upholstery options are available, and are combined with revised dials, new air propellers for new equipment look and style. It develops 110bhp and 136Nm of torque with Toyota claiming the new 1.5-liter is 0.8 seconds faster at 62 mph than the current 1.3-liter car taking 11 seconds.

Exceed the speeds are where you will also find the big gains, and the new unit will be pulling 50 mph 75 mph 1.2 seconds faster.

With a CVT transmission, Toyota claims it is up to 12 percent more efficient, thanks in part to the introduction of a new water-cooled exhaust manifold.

A hybrid version of the new 1.5-liter petrol – Toyota claims to be quieter now – will also be on sale, alongside a 1.0-liter three-cylinder 68bhp turbocharged gasoline production engine. We also know that Toyota is trying to get a hot version of the new Yaris, which could be up to 210bhp.

All models of the Yaris range of cosmetic surgery are embedded aids in driver safety. The Safety Sense kit includes a pre-collision warning system with autonomous emergency brake, daytime running lights and a lane change warning. Finally, Toyota has reshaped back to the finishing levels available in the Yaris in an attempt to make the range simpler.
