The official revelation is imminent for the new 2016 Renault Megane GT4 with a big event at the Frankfurt 2015. Meanwhile, the camouflaged prototypes are saying more and more about his style. These latest spy shots give us a more detailed glimpse at the styling for the latest model, and there’s also our first view of the new cabin design.
The timing of the new Renault Mégane is placed: the manufacturer will reveal the first official pictures just before the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2015 where she will headline the Renault stand. For now, we must rely on outstanding prototypes to guess the silhouette and style elements of the future Megane.
A vertical touch screen to the 2016 Renault Megane
After the pictures and video broadcast of camouflaged Mégane end in June, here is another series of shots. This time, we distinguish partially the instrument panel with touch screen central upright and surrounded from the vents. This is the same device on board the new Talisman.
Outside is more precisely distinguished taillights, strongly inspired by those of the Clio elsewhere. Ditto for the grille which, unsurprisingly, takes the design of the Captur and Kadjar with large diamond in the center and thick strip at the top.
Daytime running lights as Talisman?
The only question on the front is whether the 2016 Mégane adopt the same daytime running lights in the form of commas in the headlights, the Talisman. Renault is currently hidden shields in order to maintain the suspense.
As for the overall silhouette of the new Renault Mégane, it looks pretty conventional. What is the standard in the compact segment, the largest European market where few manufacturers are trying to deal with the trade issue originality.
2016 Renault Megane GT 4?
These new pictures of the future Renault Megane 4 also reveal a hatchback trunk topped with a generous spoiler and good sized rims with low profile tires. It is certainly the sportiest version of the Mégane Renault future when launched. Failing RS (it’s too soon), bet on the GT (like the present).
It is this Mégane GT should also receive a major technical innovations of the Megane 4: four-wheel 4Control as on space and Talisman. If this is the case, it will be a first in the compact segment. Decidedly, the new Renault Mégane 4 will be many secrets to reveal to the press and public at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2015, before its launch in Europe in early 2016.
