Ford presents a deeply enhanced version of its small SUV EcoSport 2015 at the Geneva salon the menu: optimized chassis, better materials, increased comfort, new equipment.
Despite a dynamic design and attractive price, the Ford EcoSport not found success in Europe. Not surprising from a vehicle that was designed primarily for the Indian market. To start on a good foundation, Ford has completely revamped the EcoSport to adapt – at last – the requirements of European customers .
On a stand-dominated sports models , Ford unveiled a discreetly changing Ecosport, with the disappearance of the spare wheel.
With its embedded spare wheel on the rear door, the Ford EcoSport trying to give an image of little adventurer. This choice has however proved unpopular with some of the customers, who are now seeking a more modern and urban vision of the SUV.
In June, the Ecosport will be available with a new tailgate: more than spare wheel and a license plate that goes out the door. This is, however, a tailgate, the change would indeed have been too expensive.
This visible trend is accompanied by a series of small alterations in the interior (new instrumentation, setting the example illumination intensity) and the chassis to make comfort and behavior more in line with the European customer expectations .
